It's the dream job for many students of all ages: Making video games! But what do they need to know to make a real game? What can teachers do to help develop a student's interest in video games into a potential career path?

We'll cover how every academic subject (from Math to Language to History to Art) is important to some aspect of game design, and take a close eye to a variety of career paths that all work on games. We'll also talk about relevant resources for several different age groups that can help teachers start connecting students' interest in games with important career skills.
